I'm not going to make my deadline for Madison's scrapbook, but I did manage to get a few done this week.
I have about 7 more pages left, but I'm in no mood to finish them. I've been trying really hard to get to the gym after work every night and by the time I get home, I just want to go to sleep.
I'm working on a scarf I started in February, but the yarn and needles I'm using are so tiny, it's going to be a few months before I'm finished with it. So, tonight I started a new sweater with much larger needles, so hopefully I can have it done in a few weeks.

Weekend Crafting
I didn't do much of anything this week as far as crafting goes. Actually, I didn't do much of anything this week but watch TV and play Brick Breaker (I am totally addicted to this game). I realized my deadline was coming up soon to finish Madison's first year scrapbook so I got a few pages done this weekend.
I also made a set of cards for Lisa with one of my new stamps she got for me.

Easter Weekend
We had a great Easter weekend and did a bunch of stuff. Mike had to work Sat. and Sun. morning so Madison had a lot of Mommy time.
Last week Grandma sent Madison an Easter basket and a new bunny.
She had more fun playing with the tissue paper.
And wearing eggs on her ears.
Saturday morning we got dressed up and had breakfast outside.
After Mike got home from work on Sunday, we had a picnic at the park (which Madison did not care for).
Looked for eggs at Fairytale Town (which she did not care for).
Then came home and ate ice cream.
I got a little bit of crafting done. I made two cards and finished a scarf. Hopefully I'll be able to take pictures of the scarf tonight.

Happy Sunday
I love spring weekends when we get a lot of stuff done and the weather is perfect. Today was one of those days. We did our spring cleaning (which really isn't that much in a tiny little apartment), cleaned off the patio so I can sit outside and read, rode my bike to the grocery store and got dinner, and did a ton of laundry. Madison loves doing laundry. I dump everything out on my bed and hand her things one by one. She runs them into her room and comes back for more. It keeps her busy while I fold all of my clothes.
I also spent a lot of time on Maggie Holmes' website. I'm still trying to find my scrapbook style, and I love Maggie Holmes' style. I did a couple pages inspired by her website.
I think this is my favorite page I've ever done:
We also celebrated Easter with my mom, Andrew and Michael yesterday since my mom will be in Seattle next weekend. Here is a picture of Madison showing Michael around the park.

Polite Robbers?
Yesterday morning my mom called and told me she'd been robbed. It's a good thing it didn't happen on Wednesday or I might have hung up on her thinking it was an April fools joke. She left for work at 8:00 in the morning and at 9:30 her neighbor called and told her that the door had been busted. It was so creepy hearing that. Even though I have not lived there in more than 12 years, it still felt like someone broke into my house.
My mom called me, really upset about all the stuff that was missing, and the more we talked about it, the more we realized how "polite" this person was. He (yes, I'm going to assume this robber was a man) apparently went directly to the back bedroom without destroying or breaking anything else in the house. He completely ransacked everything in the bedroom but didn't ruin anything, it was just a mess.
Unfortunately, he took some really random stuff that will be hard/a pain in the butt to replace. Passport, birth certificate, house papers, etc. The only big item that was stolen was the computer.
It's so creepy thinking about strangers in your house. Has this happened to anyone else?

Forgotten Projects
I realized yesterday that I didn't post any of my Christmas knitting last year and unfortunately, I didn't take very many pictures. I do have a couple projects for you.
First, my Christmas Countdown calendar. I started this on December first assuming I would have it done in just a few days so we would be able to use it for most of the month. But I had a bunch of problems getting the spray paint to stick to the cookie sheet without peeling off. I ended up finishing it just a couple days before Christmas.
My second project was for Madison. All her little hats from last year were getting pretty tight and they barely covered her ears. I made this reversible hat for her but she doesn't really like wearing it. She usually just walks around holding it.
