Wine Cork Christmas Trees

I am always on the look-out for wine cork projects.  As soon as I saw 4EyesandEars’ cork trees, I knew I had to make one.  The only problem?  It takes 72 corks plus 4 for the trunk.  I can’t drink that much wine in an entire year (I’m more of a tequila girl myself).  Luckily, my mom goes to art and wine shows all the time.  She has started collecting the left over corks from all the vendors.  It was one of her rare creative moments.
I love how it turned out!

  3. What kind of glue did you use? I just tried this and hot glue will not stick.

  13. I used hot glue, but I used a ton of it on each cork.
